This is the first, and probably the only, time all of the missionaries of the Italy Rome Mission have met together in the same room at the same time.  The mission is huge and travel and lodging were very problematic, but miraculously it all came together.  Kudos to the office missionaries and assistants who put in countless hours to make it all work.

It's not every day that the mission has an apostle and two general authorities and their wives visit--especially on the same day.  This was a memorable conference.

All the missionaries were excited to have the opportunity to hear from Elder Bednar.  The purpose of the mission was to prepare the missionaries for the introduction of mini Ipads that will soon be coming to our mission.  Very little was said about Ipads, but much was said about obedience,  listening to the spirit, avoiding evil, and learning the importance of using technology properly so when they go home they will continue to use technology to bless their lives and avoid the pitfalls that can be associated with it.
