I just couldn't resist. As we were driving out of Palermo on the way to Catania, we saw a man selling clay pots on the sidewalk. We ended up buying five of them, which was ridiculous since we were in a tiny little rental car and were flying back to Rome from Catania. If it hadn't dawned on us that the elders are driving the mission van to Catania in two weeks, we might have left empty handed. The fact they will be bringing supplies to Catania and then leaving them there will mean extra space in the van on the way back to Rome. Benessimo!
