Just when we think we have experienced everything, the doorbell rings early in the morning and a voice comes through the intercom telling us there's a car on fire in front of the villa. President pulled his robe on and rushed downstairs to investigate. Thankfully it wasn't the mission car, but there was a car parked on the street with flames shooting up the side. President grabbed the hose and squirted it out. There are so many apartment buildings in the area it was impossible to determine whose car it was, but when we left for church a while later, a lady on the street said it was hers. She must have been surprised to see it. We are grateful someone saw it in time to get the fire out before the gas tank caught on fire.
