The Zone Leaders began their addestramento by talking about the story of David and Goliath. 

1 Samuel 17:40

And he took his staff in his hand,

 and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook,

 and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; 

and his sling was in his hand:

 and he drew near to the Philistine.

David was prepared when he went to meet Goliath.  Each missionary has his/her personal Goliath on their mission.  The Standards of Excellence is one Goliath in the mission,  David had five stones to use in the fight against his Goliath.  There are five attributes that the mission can use in the fight to reach the Standards of Excellence.  

1.  Faith

2.  Charity

3.  Reverence

4.  Obedience

5.  Confidence

We are a baptizing mission!

We are always learning how to become more effective missionaries and how to get more baptisms. When we go to a baptism, we can plant seeds on the way.

We have been called and set apart to be missionaries.  Heavenly Father will help us be successful.

 

John 15:16

 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, 

that ye should go and bring forth fruit, 

and that your fruit should remain: 

that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, 

he may give it you.
