Three new missionaries from the Spain MTC arrived today. It's the first time we have had them come from Spain. They are all from Northern Italy and will serve here in Southern Italy. Italian missionaries are so important because most of them will stay here forever and be the future leaders of the church in Italy. We're excited to have them join us.
For some reason two of the missionaries arrived in the morning and one arrived in the afternoon so we had to make two trips to the Leonardo Da Vinci Airport in Fiumicino. The assistants went with us in the morning but Michael and I made the afternoon trip by ourselves.
As soon as we got the missionaries back to the mission office and got them settled in, we assigned them each a temporary companion and sent them off to do finding. Tomorrow when the missionaries arrive from the Provo MTC, we will do training and have our welcome dinner at the villa.
