Because we were driving from town to town doing exchanges and meeting with missionaries, we were able to see quite a bit of the island of Sardegna. The saying is that Sardegna has more sheep than people. We did see a lot of sheep. This is the third time we have been to Sardegna but we usually fly in and go straight to the church and from the church back to the airport. It's nice to get a better feel for where the missionaries serve.

How can you pass up a town named Saint Anna? (It's so small you'd miss it if you blinked.) |

Sleeping quarters on ferry. The trip from Cagliari to Cittavecchia near Rome is 15 hours. We left at 7:00 pm at night and slept until morning when the ferry reached the port about 10:00 am. |
