Benvenuti a Roma! Welcome to Rome!
We got new missionaries this morning. Yeah! We love new missionaries. Seven sorelle and one anziano. They are ready to go to work (as soon as they get a good night's rest). They are excited to be here and we are excited to have them. The new trainers have all been called and they are anxiously waiting to find out who their new companions will be. Presidente Waddoups pencils in names but doesn't write their names in ink until he has an opportunity to interview each of them and the spirit confirms the assignments are right. It's a miraculous process.
The missionaries have all heard about the "golden envelopes" that contain the information as to where they will be serving and with whom. The air is filled with anticipation as they sit on pins and needles waiting to open the envelopes and then the room is filled with squeals and cheers as each missionary opens his/her envelope. I absolutely love being a part of this mission.
Dio ti benedica! God bless you!

Off to New Assignments
We drove a couple of sisters and their luggage to their apartment and Michael decided they should see San Giovanni since it was on the way there. The sisters were thrilled. |
Glad to hear you love it!
