We kept the new senior couple in Rome for a couple of days so they could rest up from their long journey and see a couple of things in Rome before leaving for Bari, which is on the opposite side of the country from Rome. This way they were able to participate in the monthly dinner held by the senior missionaries currently serving in Rome. The next morning we drove to Bari to attend the Specialized Training being held there the following morning. They were able to follow us and we helped them get into their new apartment. (Of course we stopped and showed them our favorite water buffalo dairy and introduced them to Mozarella di Bufala cheese on the way.)
