Christmas Eve - 2014

December 24, 2014

Some of the senior missionaries traveled to a place north of Rome called Narni.  We stayed at an agritourismo called Regno Verde or Green Kingdom.  An agritourisimo is an old farm house that has been converted into a bed and breakfast.  Those who arrived in the afternoon took a quick sightseeing trip into the town.  We all gathered at the agritourisimo that night for a potluck dinner since there was no restaurant there and everything in town was closed because it was Christmas Eve.  After dinner, we re-enacted the nativity just as we had done at all the zone conferences, only this time it was all senior missionaries.  The spirit was strong.  Even old people still cry when their hearts are touched.

You have to read fast when you come to an intersection because there are a lot of signs telling you where to go.

Grape vines that have been trimmed and are ready for next year.
