The Sister Training Leader taught a lesson on faith, If we go through a mission relying only on our talents, energy, etc., we will not succeed. We have to rely on faith.
James 2:14-18
14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith,
and have not works? can faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace,
be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not
those things which are needful to the body;
what doth it profit?
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works:
shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith
by my works.
It is important for missionaries to place their faith and trust in Heavenly Father and believe as Nephi did.
1 Nephi 3:7
And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father: I will go and do the
things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord
giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he
shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish
the thing which he commandeth them.

The Zone Leaders chose to talk about unity in companionships. Unity is being of one heart and one mind and having the same desires. When companionships are unified, they are much more successful.
John 17:21
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee,
that they also may be one in us: that the world may
believe that thou hast sent me.
