Palermo Zone - December 2015

The Sister Training Leader lead a discussion about one of her favorite scriptures found in the Book of Matthew that emphasizes the importance of doing the little things that lead to success instead of always looking for bigger, harder things.  One of those things is working with the ward members to obtain referrals.  President Monson gave a talk encouraging members and missionaries to work together.  The most successful teaching opportunities are the ones with a member present.

Matthew 23:24

Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

The Zone Leaders started their addestramento by talking about Batman.  Nobody cared who Batman was or what he did before he became Batman.  The same is true of missionaries.  Nobody cares what they did before their missions or even what they did during the last transfer.  What really matters is what they are doing now and what they will do in the future.

Obedience is the key to becoming what we have the potential to become.  One of the Zone Leaders said how he had become a more productive missionary once he stopped looking at obedience as an obligation and changed to be obedient because that's what he wanted to do.  That's when things really changed in his life and that's when he really started having fun and enjoying his mission.
