New missionaries are kept very busy on their first day. It's the only way to keep them awake. Past experience tells us that the have a much harder time adjusting to the time change if they take a nap. After a trip to the temple site, pictures, and lunch, the Assistants take them for a trip on the Metro to see the colosseum. They start out with a handful of pass-a-long cards.
