Insights from the latest New Mission President Seminar that President Waddoups shared with the missionaries:
Missionaries are now asked to teach lessons 1-5 prior to baptism and then to reteach all 5 lessons after baptism and stay very close to new converts for three months and then stay in touch with them for at least a year. Most missionaries don't stay in one area that long which means the new missionaries coming into that area need to immediately establish a relationship and continue fellow shipping them.
Baptisms are a beginning, not a goal. The goal is families being sealed in the temple and establishing eternal families.
Obedience is more important than sacrifice.
Work of missionaries is the most important work.
