We drove to Napoli for zone conference in the mission van and the Assistants accompanied us. Many times we have to travel on P-Day in order to be ready for the conference. This means the Assistants don't get a P-Day. We left Rome in a timely manner and actually had a few minutes to spare because the traffic was good that day. President decided we should make a quick detour and let the Assistants have a short P-Day experience by showing them the Capua Ampitheatre which neither of them had seen before. (The traffic was good on the way to Napoli, but we sat on the freeway for two hours because of an accident on the way back.)
Oh, those crazy AP's. How we love them! Thank you Waddoups and Senior Couples who watch over them in Italy. We love you and pray for you every day.
ReplyDeleteIs the missionary with the "mustache" perhaps named Stewart? He reminds me of a missionary in the Padova mission back-in-the-day. I don't know whether it is the red hair or the craziness but something seems familiar...
ReplyDeleteYes. I think his father served there.
