Driving in Italy is not for the faint of heart. I finally decided it was time to try my luck at it. SCARY!!! The traffic isn't nearly as heavy between 1 pm and 4 pm because most shops close down during those hours. Michael said he was up for the challenge--back seat driver--and away we went. I drove to the temple and a grocery store. That should about do it. I can't think of anywhere else I'm brave enough to go.
Anna Kay you are so much braver than I am. I still get a sinking feeling in my stomach just thinking about the roads in Rome!
