This time to Catania was a treat for us. We usually fly into the airport and have the missionaries pick us up. We drive to the church and back to the airport. We really haven't seen much of Catania, which is really sad because Michael ended his mission serving there. This time because we were driving instead of flying, we had an opportunity to spend a couple of hours sightseeing and getting a feel for the town. We feel more connected to the missionaries when we have more a feel for where they serve and what the community is like.

| The theatre was closed because of a strike. Strikes are a common occurrence in Italy. |

That's really interesting that they leave the mangers empty until Christmas Eve. I kinda like it.
