We invited the senior couples living fairly close to Rome to come to the villa for a potluck lunch on New Year's Day. We also invited some of the couples that are from America but are living in Rome and working on the temple.
We walked to the local macelleria (butcher's shop) and bought ham for everyone. Butcher shops are an adventure.
Sometimes it's just nice to be around other couples and it's always good to open the Mission Home to those who are serving the Lord.
You always throw good parties!
