New Missionaries - Day One in Rome - March 2016

March 15, 2016

Tired missionaries just want to sleep, but that's not the best way to help them adjust to the time difference.   We keep them moving and doing things so they can't sleep.  One of the things they do is take a metro ride to the Colosseum and see some of the surrounding sights.  They are accompanied by the Assistants who give each missionary pass-a-long cards and tell them to give them out  along the way.

Once the missionaries return from sightseeing, President continues the interview process until it's time for dinner.  It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the restaurant so that keeps them awake.  Kebabs don't sound, or taste, like typical Italian food but they will get plenty of that beginning the next day.  Besides, most of the missionaries like kebabs and there are lots of places that sell them throughout Italy.
