Update
on
eruption of Mt. Etna in Sicily
and
mud cleanup in Sardegna
We had a report a couple of hours ago that Mt. Etna had erupted on the island of Sicily near Catania. The missionaries all report they are fine. In fact, most of them didn't even know about it. It seems Mt. Etna does this quite frequently. The city right next to Mt. Etna reported getting some ashes on it, but we don't have any missionaries serving in that area.
Many of the missionaries serving in Sardegna spent the day in Olbia helping with cleanup from the cyclone. They are fine and glad to be helping.
