It's very difficult to find lunch in Italy because most establishments close for pranzo (lunch). It doesn't make much sense to me, but that's the way it's always been. Consequently, we have a hard time finding somewhere to have lunch if it's any later than 1:30 pm. (Most places close between 1:30 pm and 4:30 or 5:00 pm.) We were lucky in Catania and found a little place that specialized in roast chicken. It was a takeout place, but they did have a little room upstairs with a table next to the storage room where they let us sit down and eat. The lady who worked there was familiar with the "Mormoni" and had actually been to a couple of lessons with a friend. We ordered our meal and sat down to eat and they just kept bringing us more and more food to try. It was delicious and probably some of the best food we've had since being in Italy.
