At the end of our street is a Street Market. It's so fascinating. Early each morning the vendors put their goods out in the middle of the street. All the local people came out and buy what they need for the day. By 2:00 pm, all the vendors have packed up and are finished for the day. The street opens back up and you'd never know they had been there. Along the side of the street are some big metal boxcar type things. Some of the vendors put their wares in there, shut the door, and lock it up until the next morning when they start all over. The pigeons eat whatever fresh produce is left in the road.
There is a small bakery right on the same corner of the street that sells pastry and pizza. It is usually open all day--and most of the night.
