The Napoli Specialized Training was held in Pozzuoli. It's about a two hour drive from Rome. We left Rome a little after 7:00 am and didn't return until nearly 11:00 pm. For us it's a very long day. We had to be there early and then stay late for Michael to do Temple and Baptismal interviews. It helped that one of his counselors was there with us and was there to assist.
The missionaries are always lively. Some of them take trains and buses to get to the meetings. They always seem so glad to see each other. We hope that the messages they receive by the Mission President, Assistants to the President, Zone Leaders, and Sister Training Leaders will inspire them and help them to bring others unto Christ.
Once again we introduced the new English training program. We are excited to see if it is as successful as we are hoping. It is only another tool to use in finding, but it's a different approach than previous English classes have been. In the past, teaching English has been more of a service project. With this new program, it is still providing service, but it is really more of a finding tool.
Love to look at missionaries' pictures, and see some of the missionaries that worked with my son.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to see those from tomorrow's zone conference :)
